Francois pauses, then answers with a slight tinge of hesitancy, "I'm alright."
"It's been quite a day, eh?"
"Quite a day indeed." Then a mischievous smile brightens his face. "I hear you got drunk today."
"That I did."
"Was he funny?" Francois asks me.
"Hilarious."
"Where were you guys?"
"In this roadside diner", say I. "Do you know the place."
"I don't think I've been there before."
"You should come with us tomorrow", Carl says. "The burgers are great"
"So's the beer", say I.
"I´ll drink to that", says Carl.
"You'll drink to anything", say I...
