That cat sees something that we don't", says Carl.
"Is he always like this?" say I.
"From time to time, yes. Not always."
The cat's tail begins to swing wildly back and forth. He starts a plaintive, anguished yowling. then, still yowling, he jumps onto the floor and runs out the door.
"Doesn't look good", says François.
"I wonder if reading these pages in Kenny's journal", say I, "I wonder if this has summoned forth something, something malevolent?
"Could be", says Carl. "The air does feel strange in here. Oppressive."
"I move that you keep reading, Christopher", says Francois. "I think we need to get to the bottom of this."
"I concur", says Carl."
