The Peacock 1467
"A respectful interdependence. I have never heard that term before. What does that mean? How would it look. I mean, I like the words, but how could we put bones, flesh and skin on them?"
"And clothes", giggles George, "We do want this interdependnce to remain respectful."
"Oh, trust you, George", groans Jeffrey, "To come up with a witty little quip the moment everyone gets too serious for you.
"Now, Hazel", says George to his partner, "A little smile on the face of severity can go a long way, you known", and with that he gives him three little pats on the head.
"What did you just call him", says Sarah.

"I have often found it intriguing", says Carol, "The way so many homosexual men givem themselves and each other female monickers."
"Not all of us", says Carl.
"Agreed", say I.
"So", says Sarah, "a respectful interdependence. How would that look."
"I would imagine", says Naomi, "That it is something that is just beginning to evolve among us. We have to wait and see how it is going to look. And by the way, my dear half-siblings", she adds with a cheeky little smile, "Just in case you're wondering, I am also okay for now. Our dad set up quite a generous trust fund in exchange for mom and I getting completely out of his sight and mind, and that is what put me through nursing school among other things..."
