The Peacock 1857

While George grovels at the feet of our Lord, Jesus gently bends down and places his hand on his head. "George", he says softly, tenderly and authoritatively, "I have sought you for so long, all these long years and now you have come to me.  Now you have come home.  Won't you rise up and come in with me now,"  George, with help from the hands of Jesus, rises slowly to his feet, and is suddenly enfolded in a warm embrace.  As Jesus releases him, he then says to Jeffrey, "Come in, dear Jeffery.  You have taken good care of him for me, I see, and you now are always welcome here in your home."  And then he also holds Jeffrey in a hug, as warm, close and loving as with George.  "Come in, come in, both of you and stay and dine with us here for soon the food is ready... "
