The Peacock 1248

The interior of this house is immaculate, and appears rather like a museum of the seventies.  An avocado green shag carpet covers the living room floor and the bronze and copper upholstered furniture appears to have never been sat in.  The one concession to the millenium is the giant plasma TV screen covering the far wall. I follow her into a bright sunny kitchen, all shades of muted yellow and cream and without waiting to be invited automatically seat myself at the wooden kitchen table on a wooden matching chair.  While Chelsea is measuring coffee into the filtre cone she asks, "I was wondering if you would like to tell me something about the disturbance last night outside your house and the police and everything."
