"Is there a story there?" says Carl
"More than we could care to tell", says Jeffery.
"So", says Carl, "Tell."
"Not in front of the children", says Jeffery.
"Is that where you guys met?" wonders Sarah, "At the monastery?"
"And, now, really," says George, "Not in front of the children."
"We did know each other from before. We both attended the same parish church when we were teenagers," says Jeffrey.
"And, let's see", says Carl, "You were both altar boys."
"How did you ever guess", says George.
"Now, now, sarcasm will get you nowhere. And let's see", says Carl, "There was a certain priest."
"There were two certain priests", says Jeffery rather tartly, "And for now, we are going no further with this."
"Look", says Sarah, "Jeffrey and George, "We will respect your privacy, but did those two priests have anything at all to do with both of you entering the monastery?"
"How very perspicacious of you, Sarah", says George. "Would you like to finish my vegetarian stir fry?"
"I would love to. It's just that you two have always been pretty secretive, and I was wondering if we could change that a little."
"Well", says George, "We could become even more secretive..."
