"Long story short, they did apprehend Lindstrom, and he ended up in a mental hospital. It's a facility on the campus. Kenny and I went to visit him a few times, and it was, shall we say, pretty bizarre. This guy was dressed in yellow hospital pyjamas and hardly interacted with us. He would simply stare quietly into space, sometimes hum, or mutter to himself, but it really was as if we weren't even there. Then one day, just before Christmas, Kenny said he was going to see Lindstrom alone. I wasn't sure if it was a good idea, but he insisted. That was when they both disappeared."
"Oh, really?" says Carl, nibbling on a cracker.
"Two days later, Kenny's body was found washed up on Ambleside beach. He had apparently jumped from the Lion's Gate Bridge, though that theory is questionable. There was evidence of blunt force trauma on his skull."
"What about Lindstrom?"
"They never found him..."
