"They were boyfriends. Robert Griffin at the time was a priest here in Vancouver, and Chris could tell you a tale or two about him before he really found a place of repentance in our Christian community in Switzerland, but that's another story."
"So, they were both named Robert?" say I.
"Yep, two gay men named Bob."
"Oral Roberts!" I shout, and we both burst out laughing.
"Can you explain please", says Francois, clearly not getting the joke.
"Oral Roberts was an American Pentecostal televangelist", say I, "Very controversial, and likely corrupt."
"Was he gay?"
"Probably not", says Carl, "But why let accuracy ruin a good joke?"
