"We can mix it with the yogurt", says Jennifer. "Here, Christopher, why don't you?"
"How much milk?"
There are some two litre cartons in the big fridge", says Melissa. "Use one of those."
"The whole thing?"
"To start, anyway", says Jennifer. "I´ve never made this big a batch before, so we're playing it all by ear."
"I'll take care of the eggs", says Melissa.
"Coffee´s ready", says Carol. "Everyone want a cup?"
"Double cream and no sugar", says Jennifer.
"Black and bitter", says Melissa.
"Why am I not surprised to here that", quips Carol. Melissa appears unwilling to dignify that with a comment.
"Two sugars and just a little cream in mine", say I.
Francois has just silently crept in to the kitchen. He pours himself a coffee, mixes in some milk, then sits at the table across from Carol. He seems to be clearly enjoying this spectacle of breakfast teamwork...
